SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)
Workers' Compensation; exclusion of certain employees. Excludes a person from coverage under the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act if his injury, disability, or death is covered by or eligible for benefits under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act or the Jones Act. The measure provides that such persons continue to be employees for purposes of the Act with respect to injury by accident that occurred prior to July 1, 2010.
