SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; effects of the Affordable Care Act on health insurance consumers; report. Requests the Bureau of Insurance of the State Corporation Commission to study effects of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act on Virginia health insurance consumers. The Bureau is directed to report its findings to the chairman of the House Commerce and Labor Committee by September 1, 2014. This bill was continued to the 2015 Session of the General Assembly.
