SUMMARY:

Public service companies; regulation of relations with affiliated interests; exemption. Authorizes the Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) to exempt public service companies from the requirement that the SCC review and approve certain enumerated contracts or arrangements (e.g., management, engineering, accounting, legal) between public service companies and affiliated entities. However, the Commission must determine that such an exemption would be in the public interest.
